Welcome to the Airdrie Women In Business Association (AWBA)! The AWBA helps women in Airdrie and surrounding areas succeed in business.

AWBA is a local non-profit organization with the goal of connecting entrepreneurial women in our community. We are here to promote, inspire, and share opportunities for continued business success in Airdrie.

AWBA is actively involved in Airdrie’s community and partners with many well know groups to benefit all. Recently, AWBA participated in AirdrieFest, and were involved in teaching grade six students about “Business in Our World” with Junior Achievement (Southern Alberta). Watch for us at the Home and Lifestyle Show in April.

Our monthly meetings are comprised of a guest speaker; opportunity to share our own business endeavors; trade tables, and time for networking.

Fit. Figured Out.

Shannon and Shannon, a couple in their late thirties, realize they're seriously out of shape. They join a health club, where they spend hours working out, with little results. The gym is full of grunting weight lifters and no sense of community. The workouts are long and unpleasant. After several months the results are unimpressive. The weight is't coming off and they don't feel even close to their fit energetic selves.
